 Today in class we read the girl by Jamaica Kincaid and went over it.I learned from the story that parents in that culture don't want there dauthers to be seen as sluts and tell them how to do everything step by step so they can look good and not be presented in a bad way.

 My holiday break was pretty normal didn't really do anything just stayed home and went out sometimes.5 persoal goals that I have are to get a job,be smarter with money,use time wisely,make better choices and to try my best in school.I chose these goals because I feel like i can improve myself if i work on those things.

 Today in class we worked on our paragraphs and looked over them.We learned about formal and informal language.And the difference between them.
